Responsibilities

• help us to speed up our test runs
• develop test strategies
• perform functional and regression testing at system and integration levels before new releases
• produce test documentation for the main applications and for specific adaptations to local requirements

Desired Experience

• degree level or higher (but not necessarily in an IT-related area)
• background in testing software
• good experience of Java and SQL
• good knowledge of the software development process
• good spoken and written English are essential; any other languages are welcome

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated programmer for our medical database applications (Java based). The ideal candidate will have a background in medicine or life sciences and several years of programming experience in platform-independent environments.

Key Qualifications

• comprehensive knowledge of medicine/life sciences
• skilled Java programming, experience with Grails, Ruby, Python or other platform-independent languages are welcome
• experience in web development
• ability to manage several concurrent projects
• experience with relational database management systems like Sybase, Oracle, MS SQLX, ML, DICOM and HL7
• team-player
• fluent in English (spoken and written), and as we are an international company every additional language is most welcome
