When astraia software gmbh joined the NEXUS Group in 2018 we were following the vision to combine not only two great product lines, but also bring two highly competent teams together. Each team brings more than 20 years of experience and a lot of competence in software solutions for Obstetrics and Gynaecology. We are proud to have accomplished the merge very successfully and to be able to present our customers with a much larger portfolio - which would not be possible without the great people working for NEXUS / ASTRAIA in Munich and Frankfurt.

Dr. Uwe Hannemann
studied biomedical device engineering at Technical University of Dresden (TUD) and thereafter he was working in clinical IT and research projects in the Department of Intensive Care Medicine at the University Hospital of Jena (FSU). In 2000 he received his doctorate at the faculty of electrical and computer engineering of TUD with a topic on the automation of mechanical ventilation for intensive care patients and went to health care IT industry.
In 2004 he started at NEXUS Group in the role as responsible for NEXUS Customer Care Center. In 2014 he changed to NEXUS special diagnostics and took over responsibility for special diagnostics and the E&L medical systems GmbH in Erlangen, and from 2020 the management of the current NEXUS / ASTRAIA in Munich/ Ismaning.

Cornelia Neuendorf MSc
Studied linguistics and information technology in e-health (finished with the degree of Master of Science).
Her professional career in different sectors of e-health started in 2000. During her time at NEXUS, starting in 2004, she continued to build on her experience and successes in many departments such as support, project and product management. She has held leading positions since 2011 and is the responsible manager for astraia software since 2020.

Christine Gärtner
is part of the NEXUS group since 1992. On her professional path, Christine Gärtner was able to gain valuable experience in software development, as well as in product management and sales. She has been responsible manager for NEXUS / WOMEN’S HEALTHCARE since 2015.
Christine Gärtner completed her degree in computer science at the Technical University in Darmstadt.

Dr. Ingo Behrendt
has been a member of the Management Board of NEXUS AG since 2000 and has held the position of Chairman of the Management Board since 2002.
Dr. Ingo Behrendt studied business administration and information science. He also completed an MBA (with a Fulbright scholarship) at Clark University, Massachusetts (USA). He received his doctorate in software architecture from the Technical University of Berlin.
He acquired international experience in the IT business in various positions at Siemens AG between 1992 and 2000. Here he was responsible for larger software development projects and international customer projects.

Ralf Heilig
has been working for NEXUS AG since 2001 and was appointed to the Management Board in 2008. He is responsible for the areas of sales, HIS international, as well as rehabilitation and social affairs.

Edgar Kuner
is responsible for the development of the NEXUS Group as a co-founder and has been a member of the Management Board since 2008.
