Your rights as data subjects

Via the contact data of our Data Protection Officer given below, you can exercise the following rights at any time:

  • Information about what data we have stored about you and its processing,
  • Rectification of incorrect personal data,
  • Deletion of data we have stored about you,
  • Restriction of the processing of your data, in case we are legally prohibited from deleting your data,
  • Objection against the processing of our data in our systems, and
  • Data portability, provided you have given consent to the processing or entered a contract with us.

If you have given consent you can withdraw that consent at any time with future effect.

You may at any time address a complaint to the regulatory authority in charge of you. The regulartory authority is determined by federal state of your residence, your workplace or the suspected breach. The interests pursued by the controller or a third party

We process your personal data solely for the purposes mentioned in this privacy statement. We do not transfer your personal data to third parties except for the mentioned purposes. We only pass on your data to third parties if:

  • You have explicitly granted permission to do so,
  • the transfer is necessary to implement a contract with you,
  • the transfer is required for us to fulfil our legal obligations,
  • the transfer is necessary to protect legitimate interests and there is no reason to assume that you have a prevailing interest in the protection and non-transferal of your data.

Erasure and blocking of data

We uphold the principles of data avoidance and minimisation. Therefore, we store your personal data only as long as that is necessary for the purposes mentioned here or as long as is demanded by the various legal retention periods. After the respective purpose ceases or the legal retention periods expire we routinely block or delete your data, in accordance with legal regulations.

Collection of general information when accessing our website

As a matter of course we provide you with information about the personal data we store about you at any time. We are also happy to correct or delete this data if you wish, as long as no legal retention requirements prevent this. TLS/SSL-Encryption

To ensure the security of your data during transmission we use state-of-the-art cryptographic protocols via HTTPS.

Contact Form

If you contact us via e-mail or a contact form you grant us the right to contact you in turn. For this it is required that you supply a valid e-mail address. We use the address to attribute your request and reply to it. Supplying additional data is optional. The data which you supply is stored to handle your request and possible follow-up questions. After completing your request personal data is automatically deleted.

Use of Matomo

This website uses Matomo (formerly Piwik), an open-source software for the statistical analysis of website accesses. Matomo is using so-called cookies, i.e. text-files which are stored on your computer and allow an analysis of your visit of the website.

The information about your visit, which is generated using the cookie, is stored on a server in Germany.

The IP address is anonymised immediately after its processing and before it is stored. You have the option to prevent the storing of cookies by changing the settings of your browser software. We advise you that not all functionality of this website may be available if you change the settings as such.

You can decide whether or not a unique web-analysis cookie may be placed in your browser, to allow us to collect and analyse various statistical data.

Changes of our privacy policies

We reserve the right to adapt this privacy statement, to make sure it complies with current legal demands and to reflect changes of our services in our privacy statement, e.g. the introduction of new services. For your recurring visit then the new privacy statement will be legally effective.
